Affiliate conversion tag

Using Affiliate Conversion tag can store unique ID from the URL in the user's cookies and send a conversion event to the destination URL with specified parameters.

You can track two types of events:

• PageView. Stores URL parameter inside a cookie with the name: affiliate_{PARAMETER_NAME}
• Conversion. Send a request to the specified URL.

URL Source. Choose variable from which tag will extract URL parameter. By default, it uses page_location.

Url parameters to store. Add URL parameter name and expiration date in seconds. 

Destination URL. Add URL that tag should use to send conversion request. 

Request Method. Select GET or POST. 

Clear stored parameters on conversion. When enabled, the affiliate tag will cleat all stored parameters.

Query parameters. Add the parameter that you want to send together with the request URL.
